How Frunk & Trunk works

The short version: this site is a search layer over Shopify's Global Catalog, scoped to EV accessories. Here is what that means in practice, and what it means for what you see.

Where the listings come from

Every product on this site is sold by an independent store on Shopify that participates in the Global Catalog. When you open a page, we query the catalog live and render what comes back. We keep no product database of our own — if a store changes a price, the next page load reflects it.

What "BEST PRICE" means

When several stores sell what the catalog identifies as the same product, we group those listings and badge the lowest current price among the stores shown, comparing only prices in the same currency. The badge is recomputed on every page load. It is not an endorsement of the store, just arithmetic.

Why a store might be missing

Three common reasons. The store isn't on Shopify or hasn't joined the Global Catalog. The store doesn't ship to the country you've selected. Or the store prices in a different currency than the page is showing — we drop those listings rather than compare prices across currencies. So "cheapest here" means cheapest among participating stores that ship to you, which is broad but not the entire internet.

How results are ordered

Relevance ranking comes from the catalog's own search. We don't reorder results, and commissions have no effect on position — sellers can't pay to rank higher, and we couldn't offer it if they asked. The full policy is in our Affiliate Disclosure.

What to double-check before you buy

Two things. First, fitment: listings are matched to vehicles by search relevance, and model years vary, so read the seller's fitment notes for your exact year before ordering. Second, the final price: shipping and tax are calculated at the seller's checkout, and a price can change in the minutes between our page load and yours.
