Who we are

Frunk & Trunk (frunkandtrunk.com) is a price-comparison site for electric-vehicle accessories. This policy explains what information the site handles when you use it.

Information stored on your device

The site keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage so it works the way you left it: the vehicle you picked, product IDs you save to the Garage, product IDs you recently viewed, and your ships-to country. This information stays on your device — it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

Analytics

With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and which outbound links to sellers you click, including when you copy a partner discount code. The click record itself names only the kind of link and, where one applies, the referral program it belongs to; for sellers we have no referral arrangement with, it records that no program applies. It does not name the product — but the address of the page you were on is recorded alongside it, so the product you were viewing can still be identified. Anything you type into the site’s search box is recorded for that same reason: it forms part of the page address. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address as part of this. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. No analytics run unless you accept, and you can change your choice any time with the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

What we do not collect

The site has no user accounts, and we never see or store payment information. All purchases are completed on each seller's own website under that seller's privacy policy.

Product data

Product listings, prices and images are fetched live from Shopify's Global Catalog each time a page loads and are not stored by us.

Third-party links

Listings link to sellers' own sites, and some links on this site are referral or affiliate links (we may earn a commission when you use them — see our Affiliate Disclosure). Once you leave this site, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
